Responsibilities included working with United States and Canadian clients and attorneys interested in foreign investment in Mexico’s developing financial service industry and privatizations.

Noriega y Escobedo, Attorney, Mexico City, Mexico, 1993. Summer intern working with the privatization and sale of Telefonos de Mexico with Southwestern Bell. Worked with Paramount Pictures on the legal aspects of filming the Tom Clancy movie “Clear and Present Danger” starring Harrison Ford.

National Guard Association of Texas. Austin, Texas. Board Member and Officer from 2006-2011 and President from 2011-2013. Largest Active Military Association in Texas with over 30,000 members. Advocate for Texas military forces in Austin and Washington.  During tenure we doubled our financial base and acquired property for future expansion of our Austin office.

Beehler Corp. St. Louis, Missouri. 2007-Present. Founded in 1886 as a metal hinge maker. Sales in excess of five million per year. Operations and sales in Missouri and Mexico primarily in the marine, manufacturing, furniture and industrial sectors.

Military Experience:

136th MEB 36th Infantry Division, TF Centurion, Kabul, Afghanistan, Command Judge Advocate, September 2012-June 2013. Responsible for advising the Commanding General of the Kabul Base Cluster in UCMJ, fiscal, contract, operational, environmental and administrative law.  Provided legal assistance to 8000 civilian and military personnel and UCMJ authority over 550 plus military personnel.  Managed the legal affairs for eight bases and five legal personnel.

Senior Defense Counsel, 36th Infantry Division, Austin, Texas, 2007-2011.  Defended soldiers and airmen accused of violations of the Texas Code of Military Justice and United States Code of Military Justice as well as military regulations.  Appeared before numerous hearings, boards, proceedings courts.

Multi-National Forces and Observers Rotation #49, Sinai, Egypt. October 2005-January 2007. Command Judge Advocate for the 1-124 Cavalry Squadron, 36th Infantry Division. Responsible for providing legal services to 650 soldiers and advising the commander. The MFO’s mission is to observe, report and verify the 1978 Treaty of Peace between Israel and Egypt. The MFO is the longest running and most successful peace mission in U.S. military history.

Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts, New Orleans, September 2005. Staff Judge Advocate for Task Force Lonestar under Brigadier General Eddy Spurgin, 36th ID. Responsible for the providing legal services for 1100 soldiers and the commander. TF Lonestar was the largest National Guard unit initially assigned to the Katrina Effort.

Major in the United States Army, Texas Army National Guard office of the Judge Advocate General, 36th Infantry Division. Duties include providing readiness services to mobilized troops throughout the State of Texas, conduction Courts Martial and Drug Boards, and rendering legal services to the Army National Guard and Active Army Components. Currently Major Perryman is assigned as the Trial Defense Attorney for the 36th ID serving just under 20,000 soldiers and officers of the Texas Army National Guard.

Space Shuttle Recovery Mission, Lufkin, Texas, January 2003. Staff Judge Advocate for the 36th Brigade of the 49th Armored Infantry Division. Responsible for the providing legal services for 800 soldiers and the commander.
